KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) has refuted a report that it issued a memo to industry players instructing them to be prepared for the 6% service tax for prepaid subscribers from July 1.
An irate Datuk Mohamed Sharil Tarmizi, Chairman of MCMC said, "The report is highly speculative as no such instruction has been issued on this matter."
