KUALA LUMPUR: Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Ismail Omar said police will increase its presence in public places including public transport locations to combat crime.
He said this move will ensure that the public and users of public transport would feel safe in line with the Six National Key Result Areas (NKRA) to lower the crime rate.
