JOHOR BARU: He did not want his wife to leave him and go back to her hometown in Thailand. So, a former restaurant owner set fire to himself and his wife.
It was learnt that Syed Hussin Syed Hussin, 63, doused himself and Wan Rokiah Wan Yussuf, 43, with petrol before lighting the fire at their house in Kampung Melayu Kangkar Pulai at about 9.30am yesterday.
