LONDON: World No 1 Lee Chong Wei crushed Indonesia's Dionysius Hayom Rumbaka 21-9, 21-11 in 27 minutes to reach the semi-finals of the All-England on Saturday.
The two-time All-England champion will take on South Korean veteran Lee Hyun-il next for a place in the final.
The other men's singles semi-final will be between Lin Dan and Kenichi Tago of Japan.
Kenichi, the All-England's runner-up in 2010, pulled off the biggest surprise of the day when he dumped Chen Long of China with a hard-fought 22-24, 21-12, 21-14 win.
