Gallows for three Thais, Malaysian for possession of firearms


KUALA LUMPUR: Three Thai nationals, including a woman, and a Malaysian man were sentenced to death by the High Court here Thursday after they were found guilty of possession of six firearms and 336 bullets in a hotel room in 2007.

The four were arrested in room 6194, Pyramid Tower Hotel, Bandar Sunway, Subang Jaya near here at 3.45am on Feb 4, 2007, after they were suspected of robbing a Poh Kong goldsmith outlet in Subang Parade the previous day, when two security guards and a suspected robber were killed.
