STPM results out on Wednesday

KUALA LUMPUR: The results of last year's Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) examination will be announced on Wednesday, said the Malaysian Examinations Council.

School candidates will be able to get their results at their respective schools from noon while private candidates will get theirs through the post, the council said in a statement.

A total of 50,602 candidates sat for the examination last year, comprising 46,817 candidates from government schools, 1,266 from private schools and 2,519 private candidates. - Bernama
