JOHOR BARU: The country's oil and gas sector will need over 40,000 skilled workers by 2015, Human Resources Minister Datuk Dr S. Subramaniam said on Monday.
Speaking to reporters after a dialogue between the ministry and the employers from various sectors here, Subramaniam said the increase in manpower requirement had given rise to the need for more training programmes in the field.
