KUALA LUMPUR: A Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) operation early Saturday to rid the city of the homeless, drug addicts and beggars resulted in the arrest of 14 people, according to DBKL Socio-Economic Development deputy director-general Datuk Mohd Amin Nordin Abd Aziz.
He said six men, aged between 20 and 50's, were held after they tested positive for drugs in the four-hour "Ops Gelandangan" exercise from 11.30 pm Friday to 3.30 am Saturday.
