Syabas activates emergency action plan after pipes burst in Gombak


KUALA LUMPUR: Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Syabas) activated the Green Code Emergency Action Plan (EAP) in the Gombak area Monday when two pipes burst in separate locations, affecting about 18,000 consumer accounts.

Syabas corporate affairs executive director Abdul Halem Mat Som said repair work was being carried out and were expected to be completed late Tuesday afternoon, with water supply expected to return to normal in stages in the affected areas.
