PUTRAJAYA: Malaysia has pledged to provide assistance to Thailand to find long-term solutions for peace in its southern provinces.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, who announced this at a joint press conference with his Thai counterpart Yingluck Shinawatra on Monday, said he hoped the Thai government would provide more economic development and opportunities for the southern Thai people.
