PUTRAJAYA: The Court of Appeal has discharged and acquitted two former Tabung Haji (TH) senior general managers who were sentenced to 10 years imprisonment for criminal breach of trust (CBT) and cheating the pilgrims fund of RM200mil.
The three-man panel of Datuk Ramly Ali, Datuk Clement Allan Skinner and Datuk Azhar Mohamed unanimously allowed the final appeal by Datuk Mohd Amin Sidek and Datuk Mohammad Shafie to set aside the conviction and sentence imposed by the Sessions Court.
