WHILE it is the parents' responsibility to guide their children on how to be safe online, some young people are already more savvy in this aspect, as the Facebook comments received by Sunday Star show:
> You do not share something private with someone who may not be a part of your life later. I totally agree it is a sign of trust but trust is something that has to be earned. Nowadays, it's just given for free, like meeting people online and giving them your credit card account and such. Trust is the real issue can you trust the person not to betray you when the relationship sours? Passwords happen to be there for a reason.
