Banting murders: ‘Lawyer Pathma issued cheques worth RM4mil to Sosilawati’


SHAH ALAM: A bank operations manager testified Wednesday that two cheques totaling RM4mil was issued from the personal account of accused N. Pathmanabhan to be paid to Southern Symphony Sdn Bhd, a company owned by the late cosmetic millionaire Datuk Sosilawati Lawiya.

Banting branch Hong Leong Bank operations manager, Yvonne Tiong Guat Choo, 39, said the two cheques, dated Sept 9, 2010, were issued from Pathmanabhan's personal account and the payment was made to Southern Symphony Sdn Bhd, which was owned by the cosmetic millionaire.
