Dep IGP: ‘Bomb’ outside Jalan Duta complex made of fireworks material


KUALA LUMPUR: Chemical analysis showed that the "bomb" which exploded outside the Jalan Duta court complex was made up of combustible material found in fireworks.

Deputy Inspector General of Police Datuk Seri Khalid Abu Bakar said Thursday that the bomb had a timer to detonate it but the because it was made up of fireworks material, the explosion was not very strong.
