KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 6,602 accidents were reported on the fifth day of 'Ops Sikap', an increase of 8.5% or 519 cases compared to 6,083 cases reported during the corresponding period of last year.
The Director of Internal Security and Public Order, Bukit Aman, Datuk Salleh Mat Rashid said most of the accidents were recorded on municipal and federal roads where there were 646 cases and 384 cases reported respectively.
