CHENNAI: A young drug baron who took over his deceased father's drug trafficking pipeline to Malaysia was arrested in the city when he attempted to smuggle ephedrine worth nearly RM3mil.
The 23-year-old suspect was arrested at the Chennai railway station yesterday while waiting for his two henchmen to deliver 25kg of ephedrine from Mumbai, allegedly for a Malaysian buyer.
