GEORGE TOWN: Thirty-three Chinese and Taiwan nationals and two local men have been remanded for a week to facilitate investigations into a ‘Macau-scam’ syndicate here.
The 35 people, aged between 18 and 40, were brought to a magis- trate’s court here for police to obtain the remand order until Jan 13.
