MALACCA: A local councillor has obtained a temporary stop-work order to “save” a row of pre-war buildings in Jalan Parameswara here that could be at risk with the construction of a hotel nearby.
Piling work for the multi-storey hotel has been causing anxiety among the proprietors of the shophouses who are worried about structural damage to their property.
