AN 18-year-old Indonesian worker from Taman Bukit Cheras was abducted by three men, then robbed and raped in car last Saturday. Her ordeal lasted for six hours before she managed to escape to a nearby restaurant at Jalan Bukit Belimbing at Seri Kembangan, when the suspects' car ran out of fuel. One of the suspects in the back seat had sexually assaulted the victim, who was menstruating. Kuala Lumpur deputy CID chief Asst Comm Rotzarn Rashid said the incident happened around 8.50am as the victim was leaving her house for work. She was threatened with an axe and forced into the car. When the car broke down, she begged her abductors to allow her to go to the toilet before she ran to a nearby restaurant for help. The customers and staff of the restaurant managed to nab the suspects and handed them over to the police at 3.30pm. All suspects have been remanded but the victim has been too traumatised to record her statement.

TENGKU Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah has reiterated his intention to step down as Football Association Malaysia (FAM) president due to the national team's lacklustre performance. He made the announcement after a FAM executive committee meeting in Kuala Lumpur Wednesday night. FAM acting president Datuk Seri Afandi Hamzah, said the matter had not been finalised yet and a special meeting would be called soon to discuss it. Tengku Abdullah first talked about resigning in September after Harimau Malaya’s humiliating 10-0 loss to the United Arab Emirates in the 2018 World Cup/2019 Asia Cup qualifying round.
