Mother cries when shown video of son getting bullied

A 48-year-old mother could not hold her tears as she was shown a video of her son getting bullied by seven students at Sekolah Kebangsaan Panchor in Terengganu. The school had played the bullying video to all eight parents involved, which saw the seven bullies taking turns to humiliate 12-year-old Mohamad Hakimi Mohd Hanafi. In the six-minutes long video, the bullies had run over the victim, sprayed him with water, and wiped his mouth with a sock in addition to dragging him around by his leg. The victim's mother, Norhayati Mohd Jusoh, said the parents of the bullies had cried for her son when they watched the viral video. She did not know that his son was a bully victim until the school showed her the video. Norhayati said in October, her son had returned home from school one day looking unwell. The boy had only told her that he fell down in school and since that day, he began to lose interest to go school. "My family holds no grudge but chose to forgive the students including their parents," said Norhayati. Meanwhile, Terengganu state education department has given Besut district education office and the school seven days to submit their report over the incident.
