SPECULATION that singer Datuk Siti Nurhaliza Taruddin is pregnant ran high Sunday after the 36-year-old diva uploaded a photo on her Instagram account. Her fans' tongues started wagging when she posted a photo of a glass of kurma and goat milk, which is known to help maintain a healthy pregnancy. Siti tied the knot with businessman Datuk Seri Khalid Mohd Jiwa on Aug 21, 2006. "Currently, I want to focus on my career. Just wait, when it is time, Siti will share with fans," she said at a press conference when asked about the speculation. She hoped everyone would pray so it (the pregnancy) became a reality.
> Malaysian schoolchildren starting to smoke at 14
THE prevalence of schoolchildren starting to smoke before turning 14 is reportedly at a worrying level. Deputy Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr. Hilmi Yahya revealed that the Global Based Student Health Survey 2012 found that 71% out of 25,550 students in Malaysia began smoking before they were 14 years old. He said the Health and Education Ministries had already implemented an aggressive campaign to raise public awareness about this issue. "Cigarette smoke, including vaping, contains more than 4,000 chemicals, 89% of which could cause cancer," he warned.
