> Baby with heart defect surprised family with tissue growth
Four-month-old Muhammad Rayyan Syazwan Nazri, who was born with a hole in heart, has to postpone an operation scheduled for this month after his doctor found that his heart tissue has been growing. His mother, Siti Nabilah Muhamad Bakir, said the whole family was feeling grateful with his first positive development although it is still in its early stage. She said doctor would continue to monitor his condition to determine whether the tissue growth could cover the holes in his heart or an operation is still necessary. Once it is confirmed that Rayyan does not need to do operation, his family would channel the RM50,000 donation they received from the public to orphans and those in need. The boy is receiving treatment at Hospital Serdang.
