A 50-year-old man, Aziz Noh, died after his paramotor crashed to the ground along a beach area in Air Tawar, Kuala Besut. The victim's wife and child saw as he plunged 20m-high to the ground after the motorised parasailing craft developed some technical problems midway through the flight. It was reported that the victim was parasailing with four other friends when the accident happened at 6.20pm. The victim was still alive when being rushed to the hospital but later passed away in the emergency unit.
