A burglar with poor eyesight also had bad foresight when he decided to burgle a home at night. The 25-year-old thief did not notice the homeowner sleeping on the couch when the former was busy rummaging for valuables. The quick-thinking homeowner then hid and called the police, who arrived promptly and caught the absentminded thief while he was climbing the roof of the house. Police retrieved eight mobile phones, a mobile charger and a laptop from the thief’s bag.

Hong Kong artiste Karena Ng has denied that she and boyfriend Raymond Lam are getting married soon. The 21-year-old actress refuted rumours that the couple have selected a venue for their wedding banquet in Hong Kong. Ng said they would inform the media if they planned to get married. “My work schedule is full for the next two years. And he is busy with his concerts. We have no time,” said Ng, who has been dating the 35-year-old Lam for three years. Lam’s father Lam Kwok Wah, is a renowned real-estate property developer in Xiamen, China.
