Celebrity couple Lisa Surihani, 29, and Yusry Abdyk Halim, 42, welcomed their first daughter into the family on Wednesday. Yusry’s brother Norman announced the good news on his Facebook page congratulating the new parents. When contacted, the beautiful actress thanked her fans for their good wishes. However, the couple did not wish to share photographs of their daughter yet. "When my wife and I are ready, we will issue an official statement," Yusry replied in a Whatsapp message to the publication.

Saudi King Raja Salman Abdulaziz Al-Saud has ordered one million riyals (RM1.1mil) as compensation for each of the victims of the crane crash accident that claimed more than 100 lives. Families of the deceased and those who suffered permanent disability will receive one million riyals, while those injured would be compensated half a million riyals. So far, Lembaga Tabung Haji has confirmed that five Malaysians died, 10 were injured and two were still missing in Mecca. A next-of-kin of one of the victims said they were still waiting for an official announcement from the embassy.
