Local actress and TV host Rozita Che Wan, has quit from the judging panel of Akademi Fantasia 2015 after she was rebuked by Edry Abdul Halim, who is the current season’s principal. The 43-year-old celebrity said it was an immediate decision claiming she was unhappy with the unprofessional attitude of Edry, who clashed and disagreed with her criticism of a show contestant. She said her decision to quit was made in the interest of professionalism. "I quit for dignity. I did not want to work in an unhealthy environment where there is an individual who disrespects me," she said. Meanwhile, Edry said as the show’s principal, he had to defend his students against unconstructive criticism.
> Thai woman gives birth in lift
A 32-year-old Thai woman was forced to give birth in the lift of a private hospital in Georgetown after she and her husband got trapped inside. A security guard who was also trapped inside with the couple had quickly alerted the building management office. However, Fire and Rescue Department officers arrived at the scene too late. “The woman was already weak when the bomba officers opened the door.
