Pictures of a dog being pushed in a trolley at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) went viral, resulting in some trolleys being cleaned in accordance with Islamic principles. A Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) spokesman said they searched and separated the trolleys, which was suspected of being used to carry the dog. "There are notices outside and inside the airport terminal reminding passengers and visitors that pets are not allowed," the spokesman said. The photos were reportedly uploaded onto the Facebook page of Friends of PDRM. The dog owner is believed to send someone off at the airport.
> African man gets beaten up for drunk driving
An African man who drove under the influence of alcohol was beaten up after he crashed into three cars and tried to run away at Damansara Damai on Sunday night. A witness to the 3am accident said the suspect had suddenly made a U-turn and hit the back of a Nissan Grand Livina before he swayed to the roadside and hit a tree. The panicked suspect had then tried to reverse but failed to control his Toyota Corolla. Instead, he hit a fence and crashed into two cars that were parked there. He was stopped from fleeing the scene and was handed over to the Damansara Damai police station. A bottle of beer was found in the suspect's car. All three victims lodged a police report over their crashed cars.
