Father dies over son's feud with entertainment outlet

A 61-year-old man, Ng Kee Len, was slashed to death with parang by two men in front of his house in Sekinchan Sunday night. It was reported that the attack was due to a feud between the victim's son and an entertainment outlet owner, who had refused to allow the former to use the premise for his birthday celebration. "The victim's son had threw a fit and broke items in the entertainment outlet," said Sabak Bernam police chief, Supt Nor Azmi Isa. As a result of the son's rage, two suspects had later showed up at the victim's house and hacked him five times on the chin and shoulder. The victim was rushed to Hospital Tanjong Karang but succumbed to injuries 15 minutes upon arrival.
