Spooky cries from the well

A senior citizen in Pasir Mas, Kelantan, became panic when she heard a voice calling for help from inside a well in the wee hours. The 9.88m-deep well located in Kampung Gaung had not been used  for close to 50 years. Fatimah Saman, 73, was on her way to the toilet when she heard cries for help. She was shocked to find her daughter-in-law at the bottom of the well. It is understood that the victim had accidentally stepped onto the well and fell inside. The victim was safely rescued three hours later by the Fire and Rescue Department and was sent to the hospital for treatment. It was not clear how long she was trapped in the well.
