Taiwanese pop star Ella Chen and her Malaysian husband, businessman Alvin Lai, are planning on having a baby next year. Chen said she would see to her work commitments by this year and then look to planning for a baby. Chen and Lai recently celebrated their third year wedding anniversary.

A “beggar” in Bahau made a quick getaway after he was exposed as a fraud. The man, in his 40s, who was spotted begging at about 10am on Thursday, had managed to convince many people to part with their money. However, when he was approached by a reporter who asked for his identity, the man quickly run to a waiting car and sped off. The suspect is believed to be from China.
