Teacher forgives student who severed his finger

> Teacher forgives student who severed his finger
A secondary school teacher has forgiven the student who accidentally slammed a car door on his hand, causing his index finger to be severed. Despite losing a finger permanently, Sharipuddin Jaafar said he took the experience as part of his struggles as a teacher. “I did not know the student, but as a teacher I have forgiven him and hold no grudge,” the 53-year-old teacher said. Sharipuddin was sitting in the car when the student had slammed shut the door without realising that the teacher’s hand was placed in the door gap. Sharipuddin’s instant reaction was to quickly pull his hand away which caused his index finger to be severed.
