Botched RM18,000 cosmetic surgery leaves man with crooked nose


A 21-year-old man spent RM18,000 on a nose job and double eyelids, but ended up with a crooked nose instead. The procedure, carried out four months ago at a beauty clinic in Klang Valley, left him with a crooked nose that leans towards the left, while the eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) left scarring. The man confronted the clinic to voice his dissatisfaction, but was told that his nose was fine. The victim now hides himself at home due to embarrassment. MCA public complaints bureau chairman Datuk Seri Michael Chong advised those who going under the knife to first verify the status of the clinic and ensure it is registered under the Health Ministry and Malaysian Medical Association (MMA).
