Hong Kong artiste Elaine Ng, who has a daughter with international superstar Datuk Jackie Chan, is ready for a new relationship. Ng said her 15-year-old daughter Etta would not mind if she started a new relationship. The former Hong Kong beauty queen said this during her show, where she invited singer Maria Cordero as a guest recently. Ng has not had a boyfriend since giving birth to Etta in 1999, after her affair with Chan.

A 79-year-old grandmother received 12 stitches on her hand and suffered bruises on her body when she was attacked by her son-in-law and two grandchildren who allegedly tried to perform an exorcism on her. The 51-year-old suspect, along with his two children, aged 20 and 18, had gone to the victim's house in a village in Yan, Kedah. They locked the front door and attacked the woman. The eldest suspect even stepped several times on her waist. The victim's daughter expressed shock that her husband and children had hurt her mother. According to police, all three suspects were believed to be obsessed with mysticism and were trying to cast away bad spirits from the victim.
