Two employees allegedly stole RM168,000 from the safety box in a supermarket and had spent the money before they were arrested by police. A CCTV footage in the supermarket showed the duo taking money from the safety box.The employer only found out about the incident on March 5 and lodged a police report. The suspects, aged 28 and 30, who had been working in the supermarket for more than two years, were detained. Investigations revealed that the suspects had spent the loot.

Yap issued the letters to Liu Tian Liang and Chong Wai Yin on Wednesday. Last week, Yap removed Ch’ng Chuwn Leong and Chong Wai Yin from the committee. Sources said the decisions were made so that Yap could gain more support ahead of a central committee meeting this Saturday. The internal squabble in Dong Zong has been going on for months.
