KUALA LUMPUR: A syndicate allegedly using the road skills of mat rempit to dispatch boxes of sex drugs to designated locations, at RM15 per delivery. The unemployed speedsters earned up to RM2,000 a month. Their meeting point was a luxurious office in Bukit Jalil. However, their operation was busted after a successful week-long investigation of a main suspect by the Health Ministry's National Pharmaceutical Bureau. The syndicate's headquarters was raided at 10.30am Sunday. The mastermind of the operation is said to be an entrepreneur in his 30s who bought BMW, Audi, and Volvo cars after earning over RM70,000 a month from SMS and online orders.

SEGAMAT: Two criminals pretended to challenge an elderly man to a friendly race before robbing the victim at a recreational area in Johor Bahru Sunday morning. Liew Thiam Choi, 63, was exercising alone at the time when two men in sports wear invited him to race before they forcibly obtained his handphone and wallet. They sped off on a motorcycle. The victim received treatment for light injuries at Segamat Hospital.
