Nude photos of an actor-cum-model taken with a scantily clad woman were allegedly being circulated via WhatsApp and Facebook. It is believed that the photos, which showed him naked, and sitting next to a model in underwear, were taken some five years ago. The validity of the photos has not been confirmed. The male artiste has reportedly performed as a background actor in several films including one gangster movie, and local dramas. Few years ago, he had also made headlines after a photo of him kissing another celebrity went viral.

An Indonesian woman was arrested by police after she attacked a Bangladeshi man on Wednesday near a wet market in Bukit Mertajam, Penang. The victim was pillion riding with a friend before the suspect stopped the motorcycle and splashed petrol onto him. The suspect had burnt a piece of cloth and flung it at the victim before his body caught fire. Members of the public who were at the scene had acted quickly to put out the fire and the victim was sent to Hospital Bukit Mertajam. Police are still investigating the motive of the attack.
