A woman in Kuala Terengganu, who has been in a coma for the last four months gave birth to a baby girl via surgery. Noor Laila Razak, 33, had fallen into a coma four months ago due to encephalitis, when she was about five months pregnant. The woman’s husband, Rusili Yusof, 35, said although the couple’s daughter Noor Shafikah was born underweight the family was grateful that she was heatlhy. The father of four added that it hurts to know that his wife is still unconscious, but is hopeful that she will recover soon. Rusili added that the baby girl would be looked after by his mother until his wife recovers.
> Man downs poison after wife asks for divorce
A man, who feared becoming a divorcee for the second time, almost lost his life after downing a bottle of poison. The incident which took place in Kota Samarahan, occurred when the wife of the man had asked him for a divorce after finding out about his extramarital affairs. The man is reported to have drunk the poison after his wife had asked for a divorce. He was rushed to the Sarawak Public Hospital for treatment. According to specialists, the man who is in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) will need to be under close watch.
