> Duo in Malacca duping petrol station customers with stolen credit cards
Two men at a petrol station in Sungai Ujong, Seremban are believed to be using stolen credit cards to “help” other customers pump petrol in exchange of cash. A 60-year-old customer who arrived at the station at about 2pm on Monday was approached by the duo who claimed they had ran out of cash and asked if the woman could give them money if they swiped their credit card for the petrol. The woman initially agreed but when the credit card transaction was rejected, she noticed that the name on  card was for a person of a different race. The woman is reported to have questioned the duo who said the card belonged to their mother. The woman then paid for the petrol at the station’s counter.
