A grandmother sent her car crashing into a petrol station's convenience store when she accidentally stepped on the accelerator pedal instead of the brakes. The crash shattered the windscreen of the woman’s Peroduo Kancil however, she and her two grandchildren escaped with minor injuries. The owner of the station in Kota Lama, Kota Baru, has estimated his losses to be around RM10,000. The woman, in her 60s, was on her way to send her grandchildren to school at Sekolah Kebangsaan Kampung Sireh.
