> Almost submerged cab makes it way through floodwaters
A video clip showing a taxi, almost submerged in the floods, managing to "drive" out of the waters, has drawn both praise and doubt. It was not stated where the video was shot but the Proton Iswara taxi in it is seen slowly making its way from one end of the road to dry land. A car expert said the engine would experience a short circuit when in contact with water. He said the reason the car was moving could be due to currents or a slope. Many netizens commented that the car was the "nation’s pride" and that it was "comparable to a Ferrari". However, there were also some who cast doubt and felt the video was edited.
