Keeping busy is centenarian’s secret to good health


A centenarian says he will fall sick easily if he does not keep himself occupied with activities. According to Nik Mahmood Merah, he is still capable of cutting grass, working in his paddy field, driving at night, and slaughtering cows. "Perspiration keeps me healthy and makes me feel young," he said at his home in Ketereh, Kota Baru. The man has married nine times, and has 15 children and 45 grandchildren. He is now living with his youngest wife, 52-year-old Nik Kamariah Nik Mustafa.
