Three years’ jail for kissing friend’s wife


An employee of a private company was sentenced to three years’ jail by the High Court in Ipoh on Wednesday for kissing his friend’s wife. Yusainiamin Mohd Yusof, 40, was charged with outraging the modesty of the 29-year-old woman at around 10am on April 5, 2010 in the victim’s house in Bandar Baru Kampar.  The suspect was charged under Section 354 of the Penal Code for assault or use of criminal force to a person with intent to outrage modesty.

A luxury car worth RM1.2mil driven by a local man was destroyed in a fire at 113.8KM of the North-South Expressway near Yong Peng, Johor on Wednesday. Yong Peng Fire and Rescue Department operations director Ibnul Kasim Abdul Rahman said firemen arrived at the scene at 4.04pm. The driver was unhurt and the blaze was extinguished in 10 minutes.
