> Buckle up for GE14, Dr M tells Umno
Former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has urged Umno to take in to consideration the concerns of the public or risk losing their support in the next general election. He said that during the 13th general election, people chose to side with Barisan Nasional because they were apprehensive about PKR head Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and DAP advisor Lim Kit Siang ascending to power. “However, if Selangor Mentri Besar Azmin Ali rises and Anwar goes to jail, the people’s perception might shift,” he warned.
