A 30-year-old mother had to sit on the floor of the Express Rail Link (ERL) for 40 minutes to feed her one-year-old child milk. Sadly, none of the young passengers were caring enough to offer her a seat and the carriage was jam-packed due to rush hour. Wan Noor Shila Mior Sharifuddin was on her way home to Salak Tinggi when her toddler became hungry. A kind senior citizen believed to be in her 50s did offer her seat to Wan Noor Shila, who rejected it because the veteran was not physically fit as well.

Chinese primary schools are not the main cause of disunity among Malaysians, stressed MCA deputy president Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong. He said the abolition of Chinese primary schools would not increase the competitiveness of the country.
