The Malaysian Board of Counsellors has claimed that the majority of African men who came to Malaysia intended to cheat local women. The board's president, Prof Dr Mohamed Fadzil Che Din, was quoted as saying that "Eighty percent of African men who came to this country had malicious intentions to cheat for their personal interests.” He said many local women fell victim to them because the men were good at sweet-talking. Mohamed Fadzil was commenting on a report that a woman had claimed she fell in love with an African man over his body odour and breath.
> Seven-year-old among five members of religious cult arrested
The Malacca Islamic Religious Department (Jaim) arrested three men, a Singaporean woman, and a seven-year-old who were allegedly involved in spreading the banned "Hakikat Insan" cult. Sexual enhancement pills and "tissue" were found in a special room, renovated in gold- and red-coloured elements during a raid on the group. Jaim suspected that the cult had exploited women, following the discovery of the room and sex toys found inside the house.
