A five-year-boy was the hero of his Felda settlement after his quick thinking saved his 61-year-old grandmother from a fiery death. In the 5pm incident in Jempol, Eqwan Marsyal Morarasyal, who was alone with his grandmother Jalilah Harisun at the time, had noticed the house on fire after coming out of the shower. With no time to get dressed, the boy ran out in the nude to seek the help of neighbours who arrived shortly to escort his grandmother to safety.

A man ran amok and attacked a family with a knife when they confronted him about allegedly spreading nude photos of one of their family members. The parents, brother and sister of the female victim visited the accuser’s home in Bandar Tun Razak at 3.30am, Wednesday and requested that the accused stop distributing the incriminating photos. However, the victim’s mother was attacked by the man. Police are reported to be investigating the incident.
