SIX more Tamil vernacular schools will be built in stages nationwide.
They are SJKT Paya Besar, Kedah; SJKT Taman Keladi, Sungai Petani; SJKT Heawood, Sungai Siput, Perak; SJKT Taman Sentosa, Klang; SJKT Bandar Mahkota, Hulu Langat; and, SJKT Taman PJS1, Petaling Jaya. MIC president Datuk Seri Dr S Subramaniam said the construction of these schools involves a special provision announced by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, which will be allocated this year.
