WHILE there is a growing chorus for English-medium schools in the country, the Malaysian English Language Teaching Association (Melta) feels that reverting to the English medium is best done in phases.
Its president, Prof Dr S Ganakumaran, said that reverting to English overnight may not be possible, especially when there is a serious shortage of English language teachers globally.
