PARENTS who received notices or letters on GST-related fees at their children’s schools have been advised not to pay the Goods and Services Tax charges.
“We’ve received complaints from between 100 and 200 parents on GST collection at various Chinese primary schools throughout Malaysia,” said Edward Neoh, who helps to manage a Facebook group called SJK (C) Fees Monitoring Forum.
