ASHWIN Nicholas Oon from Taylor’s University School of Hospitality, Tourism and Culinary Arts (TCHT) created history when he beat other culinary arts contenders from around the world to win the inaugural World’s First International Young Chef Olympiad 2015.

He won a cheque for US$10,000 (RM36,400) along with a gold trophy, a gold medal and a certificate, besides being crowned as the Young Chef global ambassador at the competition held in Kolkata, India.
